It’s official—Aspen Park will be heading to New York City for our mission trip this year! Our team of missionaries will be traveling the first week of August for around 7 or 8 days (dependent on flight pricing and availability).

In December our mission team will be in Bogota, Colombia, where they will be serving in ministry to Venezuelan refugees. Please keep our team in your prayers while they are away. We look forward to their safe return and their report on all they have accomplished!

Aspen Park is planning on joining GO IN THE NAME (http://www.gointhename.com) Ministries on a trip to Puerto, Colombia on the Caribbean coast on October 18-25 (Tuesday to Tuesday).
We will be working with the local church as they do ministry and reach their community with the Gospel. The plan for this trip is to assist the First Baptist Church of Puerto as they plant a church among the Venezuelan refugees present in the area.

Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:30-7:30 our Children’s Dept. will be partying and making Valentine’s treat bags for the kids at DaySpring Villa! Please send at least 24 treats with your child. (E.g. fruit snacks, Little Debbie’s, pencils, Capri Suns, etc.)
The Angel Tree presented by our Women's Ministry will go up on Sunday, November 24. Our angels represent children and women who are residents of DaySpring Villa, a facility for battered and abused women. Choose an angel from the tree to share a special Christmas gift. Please return all presents unwrapped to the church by December 15.

Wednesday, November 13th we are inviting several senior living facilities to be our guests while we serve them a Thanksgiving meal. We need your help to make this wonderful holiday tradition happen again this year! Please plan to be a part of this very worthwhile event and help us touch the lives of these precious people.
Our Youth Dept.'s yearly mission to downtown Tulsa to minister to the homeless by giving away backpacks filled with essential winter supplies such as new hats, socks, gloves, blankets, and hygiene items.
With the offerings received during Vacation Bible School this year, Aspen Park will be buying new shoes for the kids living at DaySpring Villa, just in time for school! Contact Debbie Bell with questions or to volunteer.
It’s time for our annual backpack mission at Indian Springs! We will be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies to children of residents in need at Indian Springs Apartments on Friday, August 9 at 6:00. Contact Tony Dotson for more information or to help.
Join the Mission Team at a fundraising lunch for donations on Sunday, April 28 in the Multipurpose Room immediately following the morning service. All proceeds from this event will go toward the Haiti Mission Trip. Bring your checkbook!
Our Angel Tree is now available to choose angels in need to give a special gift this Christmas season. The tree is operated by our Women's Ministry and to support the women and children at DaySpring Villa. Please return all presents unwrapped to the church by December 16.

Your family is invited on Sunday, October 14th 4-6 pm. Kids of all ages will enjoy fun games and prizes and even a bouncy house! Come celebrate the Fall season with us and enjoy good food and great company.
This is a free event for all members of the community.

Our team will leave Friday July 20th and return on Friday July 27th.
We have had such a great response from our Thanksgiving outreach in previous years that we are doing it again, and we need you to make this happen!
Wednesday, November 15, we are inviting several Sr. Living Facilities to be our guests while we serve them a Thanksgiving meal. We need your help to prepare the food, set up, serve and tear down. Sign-up sheets will be in the Worship Center lobby after the service starting October 22.
During the week from July 22 through July 28, our Mission Team will be in Haiti.
Our team will be working hard at their outreach to the Haitian people and will help to construct a house for a family in need. Please pray for the Missionary Team as they help to lift up others in this country that lost so much to the devastating earthquake several years ago. If you would like to give toward the purchase of the house, it would be greatly appreciated.
